Anditec - Announces INMAC launch during ABILITIESme, 2014 – INMAC – INdependent Mobility for All Children
Lisbon, March 16, 2014 – Anditec - Rehabilitation Technologies Ltd has announced its new product - INMAC launch during ABILITIESme, 2014 together with Consort World. The product will be showcased at Consort World's stand no. 9A35.
The main objective of the INMAC Project is to provide independent mobility to ALL children regardless of their (dis)abilities. This was achieved through an industrial prototype of a special vehicle, based on the results of a former Ibero american research project called PALMIBER.
This vehicle has special features that support independent mobility of children with severe neuromotor disabilities (e.g. cerebral palsy) as well as children with sensory and cognitive impairments, allowing them to freely explore the environment and be engaged in the same type of activities as their non-disabled peers.
